I often speak of rushing as the opposite of moving fast, the bottleneck of tasks in a [usually failed] effort to be more efficient. Recognizing this, I can start to de-escalate a bad mood by noticing symptoms of rushing.
For me, it's clumsiness. Suddenly, it feels like I live in a world where physics are broken. They're not. I'm rushing. Slowing down and being ridiculously intentional is the fastest route out of this mess.
