There is a way to claim back your sanity
We are all in the same boat on the fast-moving, flowing river of acceleration. We are all subject to the dictates of hurry-culture and speed-addiction in the same way. The worst thing is that we have come to the point of taking this attitude to life for granted. This is crazy. And you don’t have to surrender to this.
If you want to take your time, take your time. Who else is doing it? Those of us who believe in the power of slowing down, have to stand up for it.
No doubt. The pressure is on. We're stressed and flooded with information, we rapidly intend to get this and that done, and quickly make that decision. Everything in daily life is just getting too much.
A new normal we accept. Institutions, systems, and the public at large make you believe that this is how modern society and economy work. Hence they force us to do faster.
But this should not be a permanent mode for dealing with hurry and stress. Serenity, on the other hand, helps you to take a step back to get an overview. If you combine this serenity with a dash of optimism, you will even discover opportunities, chances, and other perspectives in the bigger picture you gain.
You can break the rules and allow yourself to become less stressed and more serene, and perhaps infect others a little with it too.
