Nutshell Nudge
Try to slow down a bit between the holidays and the start of a fresh new year—no need to rush into 2023. Instead, reflect a bit on this past year.
“There is more to life than increasing its speed.” - Mahatma Gandhi
Try to slow down a bit between the holidays and the start of a fresh new year. No need to rush into 2023.
Instead, reflect a bit on this past year. I like to look back and grasp how the past year has unfolded and what I have done, seen, experienced, learned, changed, or envisioned.
Pick the questions that appeal to you and give them a thought:
What did you appreciate?
What are you grateful for?
What did you learn?
Did you meet some new people you enjoy?
To whom did you give your attention, your care?
Did you take time for yourself and took care of yourself?
What will you leave behind from last year to move forward?
What will you take with you, with pleasure, going forward?
What did you celebrate or would like to celebrate looking back?
What new perspectives did you gain?
Did you learn something new about yourself?
These kinds of questions help you to reflect on what is important to you, what your values are, and who you want to be….
You Become What You Think
“What you say and what you think becomes your reality…I really believe that we create our lives.” – Jennifer Lopez
Thinking about gifts in this holiday season…..
What is the greatest gift you can give to yourself and to others?
Gift yourself something very precious: Time. Time to reflect and time to rest.
Give your loved ones the gift of your attention. Take time for them, listen, care, be there.
“One of the greatest gifts you can give to anyone is the gift of your Attention” – Jim Rohn
I wish you magic holidays.
