Welcome to the Wednesday Thread to Un-Rush your Life – a weekly offer to readers to connect and discuss 1 Question re: Slow Living pros/cons.
In the comments, please let us know what your thoughts are on:
What are you afraid of if you were slowing down and doing your work or projects at your pace?
Perhaps you don’t want to stick out or be looked at by your colleagues when they are all rushing and being busy? Or you are afraid of your boss because the company wants things fast and doesn’t care about depth and quality? Are you afraid of getting less done when you go slow? Perhaps you don’t feel like being more thorough and going deeper because you don’t have the patience for it and rather move on quickly to the next thing?
I am curious:
I am really curious to know, understand, and hear from you why you/we are often afraid to slow down! We know the benefits of slowing down at work, in business, and in daily life. Yet, we let the rush and pressure from the outside to go faster rule our lives.
So, let me and the others know, What are You afraid of if you were slowing down in daily life or at work?
What are your experiences/thoughts?
To have this a fun exchange, please respond with a like or comment to at least one of the other’s responses.

This is a weekly Thread to create a conversation around your questions about the hurry culture and slowing down.
